We were doing therapy for 2 years in offline mode at a center here in Dubai. But my son, R******** did not have much of improvement. The reason why I stopped that therapy was that the therapist would change every now and then. All of them where freshers, and one of them was too harsh on my child. When we joined Sheena Mam’s therapy, we had very less hope. Moreover, it was difficult to do those activities. But Mam, was patient, and she suggested easier goals that fit my son. In two months, I noticed some changes in him. It started with him trying to get our attention, to play with him –something that he never did before. In six months, his eye-contact and pointing had improved, and he had stopped his constant crying, and began to speak words. From then on, his vocabulary and sentences increased daily. Its almost one year now. I am hopeful that he can join a regular school next year. Its not over yet, but his improvements are nothing short of a miracle. May God bless you.
