It is a common knowledge that for every four boys with Autism, there is only one girl having Autism. So are boys more affected by Autism? It is only recently that researchers have dug deeper into this parity.

Studies suggest that women need more genetic causes to trigger autism. If scientists can figure out the genes that gives protection to females, then they can use this knowledge to ‘protect’ both male and female children who have a family history of Autism.
